DEDICATION

We, the Class of '85, would like to take this opportunity to
dedicate our Yearbook, Stepping Stones, to Dr. Paul Susen,
Dean of Academic Affairs.

Dr. Susen, in the relatively short time that he has been at
our institution, has made many contributions and has be-
come a valuable asset to the Administration, Faculty, Staff,
and the students as well.

Dr. Susen's high standards of quality education are perhaps
part of the reason that our Community College has main-
tained the excellent reputation that it has. His enthusiasm
and drive are evident in every aspect that he encompasses.

At this time, we proudly and gratefully express our appreci-
ation to an outstanding professor, a knowledgeable admin-
istrator and a compassionate human being. Thank you Dr.
Susen.

Dear Graduate ,

Congratulations to the Class of 19851 Your graduation from
Mount wachusett Community College says something significant
about you. It says that you are capable of setting a long-
range goal and achieving that goal. It also says that to do
this you made a number of choices. You chose to focus on your
studies, no matter how many distractions and obstacles presented
themselves. Your professors and administrators at the Mount,
as well as your families and friends, are proud of your success.

As you leaf through the pages of this yearbook, my hope is that
memories of your time at Mount wachusett Community College will
come flooding back to you. And please remember that we are
eager to continue our association and assistance throughout
the years ahead.

Sincerely,

Arthur F. Haley G

Dear Graduate:

Once again I say farewell and best wishes to another graduating class,
the twentieth in the history of the college.

I congratulate one and all for your achievements and perseverance.
You have ample reason to be proud of your successful arrival at another plateau
in your career as you move along in the path of life. 1 hope your memories
and experiences here have been rewarding and fruitful. My memories of your
class have been very positive and exciting. I know I also speak for all my
colleagues in the Division of Student Personnel Services.

I frequently lament the fact that we are just a two year institution
because one hardly gets to know you before you move along. Some of you are
grandparents, parents, as well as the usual younger students who came to the
MOUNT directly from high school. You now join the ranks of more than six
thousand alumni(ae) of tre college in the rather brief twenty one years of
our existence. I hope you will continue your interest in the college by
participating in the Alumni activities. The future of the college and our
students is very dependent on your support and loyalty, yery shortly you
will be regularly receiving Alumni newsletters. Keep us informed on your
activities, marriages and addresses; we very much value your help and loyalty.

I bid you Godspeed with much pride and every confidence that your future
will be personally rewarding and fulfilling. Keep in touch and please come back
to see us often.
